Allergy & Immunology Clinic

Initial consultation requires a referral from your TRICARE Primary Care Manager.
The clinic provides comprehensive evaluation and management of the following conditions:

  • Allergic rhinitis (hay fever)
  • Asthma
  • Atopic dermatitis (eczema)
  • Drug (medication) allergy
  • Food allergy
  • Immunodeficiency
  • Urticaria (hives)
  • Venom hypersensitivity (bee sting or fire ant allergy)
Services Provided:
  • Allergy skin testing
  • Food and drug (medication) challenges
  • Immunotherapy (allergy shots)
  • Immunomodulatory therapy (biologics)
Services NOT Provided:
  • Allergy Patch Testing: This service is not provided by the Allergy Clinic. (Note: Allergy patch testing is done through Dermatology).
  • Active-Duty Service Members: Routine or Travel Immunizations are not provided. (Service members must see their Primary Care Manager (PCM)/Assigned Clinic or the Soldier Readiness Medical Clinic (SRMC)).
  • Active-Duty Dependents, Retirees, and Retiree Dependents: Routine Immunizations are not provided. (Beneficiaries must see their PCM or Assigned Clinic).
  • Yellow Fever Vaccine: This vaccine is not available at our clinic. (Beneficiaries can obtain the Yellow Fever Vaccine at Passport Health in Austin, TX).
Travel Immunizations:
  • The clinic provides immunizations for overseas travel for non-active-duty beneficiaries by appointments only.
  • Active-Duty Service Members receive their travel immunizations at SMRC.
  • Yellow Fever vaccine is not available (can obtain at Passport Health in Austin).
  • Routine immunizations are given through your Primary Care Clinic.
