Laboratory

The Department of Pathology (laboratory) provides clinical laboratory, diagnostic testing and anatomical pathology services for the medical center and all outlying clinics. The department collects about 300 specimens for testing. Clinical pathology is comprised of chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, immunology and transfusion medicine.

Pathology and laboratory scientists use the latest equipment and evidence-based laboratory protocols to provide exceptional service for our beneficiaries.  

The department is also the Phase II Medical Laboratory Technicians training site. 

Patient Specimen Collection

Beneficiaries with an order for laboratory tests may report to the laboratory for assistance with specimen collection. Your healthcare provider will provide information and preparation instructions. Please bring your military ID card.
