Anesthesia & Operative Service
Anesthesia service is a very large and dynamic service that supports seven operating rooms, an Acute Pain Service, a Chronic Pain Clinic, a nine-room obstetrical labor and delivery ward, and two obstetrical operating suites.
This service also encompasses anesthetizing locations outside of the main operating room that includes an additional obstetrical suite, an operating room in the General Surgery clinic, a procedure room in the Gastrointestinal Clinic, and a cystoscopy suite in the Urology clinic. The Acute Pain Service is comprehensive and offers peripheral nerve blocks, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, and peripheral nerve catheter placement/management throughout the peri-operative period. The Chronic Pain Clinic is a full-service pain clinic for treatment of full-scale chronic pain conditions.
