Health Services

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

ICU Overview

The Intensive Care Unit at CRDAMC is a 12 bed, multi-service unit, staffed by military and civilian personnel who are specially trained to provide care to ICU patients. Patients who have surgery at CRDAMC may recover from anesthesia in the ICU if their surgical case occurs on the weekend or after normal business hours.

The unit is always locked, and you will need to call the staff from the unit door to request entrance.

Visitation

Our goal is to provide a safe environment where family members can visit patients. In certain situations, we reserve the right to restrict access to patients based on their health and welfare as well as certain communicable disease threat levels within the community. Please keep in mind that our ultimate priority is the safety of our staff and patients. However, there are times when the visitation of family members may not be ideal due to extenuating circumstances. Thank you for your understanding.
