Each military pharmacy’s prescription refill line may be unavailable for about two hours. If you call the prescription refill line at this time, you will hear a busy signal. Please wait and call back to complete your refill later.  
You may still use the
MHS GENESIS Patient Portal to refill your prescriptions.

Endocrinology

The Endocrinology Clinic provides comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of endocrine and metabolic disorders. Endocrine disorders include:
  • Thyroid disorders - hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, abnormal Thyroid Function test, thyroid nodules, goiter, thyroid cancer (please refer to ENT for fine needle aspiration or biopsy is recommended)
  • Pancreatic disorders
  • Difficult to control Diabetes Mellitus (Type 1 and 2), hypoglycemia, impaired glucose intolerance, management of insulin and CGMs (continuous glucose monitoring)
  • Adrenal disorders
  • Pituitary disorders
  • Bone/Calcium disorders – osteoporosis/osteopenia, Paget's disease, Hypo/Hyperparathyroidism, Hyper/hypocalcemia, Vitamin D deficiency (Persistently low vitamin D level despite appropriate replacement)
 
RN Diabetes Education
  • Diabetes education is available to eligible beneficiaries ages 18+.
  • Education provided on:
    • Pre-diabetes
    • Type 1 diabetes mellitus
    • Type 2 diabetes mellitus
    • Insulin pumps (Medtronic, Tandem, Omnipod)
    • Continuous Glucose monitors (Dexcom and Freestyle)
    • Blood glucose meters (Freestyle Freedom Lite)
    • Diabetic medication injection teaching (Education regarding the medication administration process only)
    • Life-style modifications
    • Diabetes self-management education and support classes
A referral from your primary care manager is required.
