General Surgery Services
Your Primary Care Manager may submit a consult to be seen by the General Surgery Clinic.
The General Surgery Service at CRDAMC offers clinical expertise in all aspects of general surgery including colon and rectal surgery, surgical oncology, trauma and critical care, surgery for morbid obesity, surgery of the breast, pancreas, and biliary tract, laparoscopic, endoscopic, as well as minimally invasive surgery. All staff surgeons in the General Surgery Service are board certified, with some additionally certified in a surgical subspecialty.
The General Surgery Service provides surgical treatment of abdominal diseases such as but not limited to; gallbladder, stomach, pancreas, small and large intestine, anorectum, and hernias; endocrine diseases such as thyroid; breast disease; chest diseases to include esophagus and lung; skin problems such as burns, lesions and trauma.
Additionally, laparoscopic, thoracoscopic and endoscopic surgical techniques are offered when appropriate, to include laparoscopic reflux surgery and colonoscopy.
We also provide three bariatric surgeries, Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Banding and Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass.
Minor surgical procedures are also performed in the clinic.
