The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Our emergency room and inpatient services are fully operational. We will not cancel any medical or dental appointments or procedures. Pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology services are also available to support your care.

Otolaryngology

We offer complete and timely care through definitive medical and surgical care for disease of the ear, nose, throat, and larynx. This includes reconstructive and facial plastic surgery for trauma patients admitted through the emergency medicine service, along with general surgery, plastic surgery, oral surgery, and ophthalmology services, as needed, endoscopic treatment of foreign bodies from the esophagus and tracheal bronchial tree and managing diseases and tumors of the head and neck.

Other services include Myringotomy and placement of ventilation tubes; patching ear perforations; suturing lacerations of ears, face, nose, mouth; Reduction of nasal fractures; Nasal polypectomy turbinate and septal cautery; Incision and drainage of abscess on face, ears, mouth and nose; Direct laryngoscopy and biopsy; Esophageal dilation; Removal of a foreign body from the ear, nose and throat; Suture removal; Ear cleaning; Salivary duct dilation and probing; Removal and placement of tracheostomy tubes; Injection of keloid scars; Evaluation of chronic sinusitis; Evaluation of thyroid problems; Tonsil and adenoid hypertrophy; Hearing loss/tinnitus; Evaluation of vertigo; Evaluation of obstructive sleep apnea; Eyelid Dermatochalasis; Head and Neck Cancer; Hoarseness and Speech problems.
