Labor and Delivery Overview

The Labor and Delivery unit is made up of 9 Birthing suites, 3 Antepartum rooms, 6 Outpatient triage rooms, 2 Operating rooms, and 2 Recovery rooms The unit is staff with military and civilian staff who are specially trained to care for patients during the pregnancy, delivery and recovery. Following delivery, the mother and baby will be transferred to the Mother Baby Unit, normally 1.5 – 2 hours later.

The unit is locked at all times and you will need to call the staff from the unit door to request entrance.
