Interdisciplinary Pain Management

Our goal is to restore optimum functionalities for all patients using multiple treatment options in addition to traditional medical approaches with medications. Using intervention treatment options such as minimally invasive procedures or surgery, referral services to Complimentary Alternative Medicine (CAM) such as acupuncture, chiropractor and various movement classes, behavioral and mental health, rehabilitative treatment such as Physical and Occupational Therapy allows a treatment plan that considers holistic approach to the patient's well-being. Our goal is to relieve acute pain, minimize progression to chronic pain, maximize function, decrease disability, and optimize treatment of chronic pain in such a manner as to minimize suffering and maximize quality of life.

  • Diagnostic evaluation for pain etiology
  • Medication recommendations
  • Management of high-risk or complex medication regimens
  • Incorporation of integrated modalities and complementary medical treatments
  • Systemic intravenous infusions
  • Advanced peripheral nerve anesthesia for diagnosis or treatment
  • Continuous neuraxial anesthesia or analgesia
  • Neuroablative procedures
  • Percutaneous interventional procedures under radiologic guidance
  • Trial and implantation of neuromodulation electro stimulators
  • Trial and implantation of continuous intrathecal drug delivery systems

Support Services for patients include

  • Management of continuous peripheral nerve catheters
  • Telephonic consultation
  • Patient education
  • Referral for subspecialty evaluation or management
  • Case management for patients with complex pain pathology
