Nearly 100 buildings covering 3,577,593 square feet make-up Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC) health care system located at Fort Hood, Texas. The healthcare system serves approximately 100,000 TRICARE Prime beneficiaries providing primary, specialty, emergency, and inpatient care to active duty service members, retirees, and their family members. Recognized by Military Health System, as a leader in delivering virtual care, CRDAMC has positioned itself as an innovative health care delivery platform using multiple technology applications to expand virtual health care for beneficiaries. Seven clinics are located on installation and four clinics are located in the local communities of Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, and Killeen. CRDAMC also provides specialty, emergency and inpatient health services to active duty service members, family members, and retirees. As a major generator of the Ready Medical Force, CRDAMC is home to a variety of graduate medical education and Phase II training programs.
