Medical Readiness Battalion Charlie Company changes commanders

FORT CAVAZOS, Texas – Charlie Co., Student Detachment, Medical Readiness Battalion, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center changed commanders in a ceremony 30 Nov.
Cpt. Alexander Deatherage receive the guidon from Lt. Col. Jamie Culbreath as Cpt. Tomas Mwibanda relinquishes command to move on to attend Army health education and training to obtain his doctorate degree.
Deatherage joins the unit from the west fort hood training and support battalion.
Culbreath bid farewell to Mwibanda and his family, welcomed Deathrage and his, and stated that his predecessor had raised the bar pretty high.
“Cpt. Mwibanda thank you for what you have done and what you will continue to do for the Army and Army Medicine,” said Culbreath. “Cpt. Deatherage I’m excited that you are in control and you have earned the privilege to lead some of the most phenomenal Soldiers in Army medicine. Do not forget that this day is just that. A privilege and an honor. Strive each day to be better than the day before to insure the welfare of your Soldiers.”
