Family Advocacy Program

The Family Advocacy Program (FAP) provides commanders with assistance in addressing the problems of spouse and child abuse.  Additionally FAP  provides evaluations, assessments, and supportive services for individuals of spouse or partner abuse and children of abuse or neglect.  FAP coordinates the legal, law enforcement, social services and medical aspects of Family violence on the installation. Services include treatment for both victims and offenders. Individual and group counseling is available.

Family Advocacy Program provides instruction and training in conflict resolution and therapeutic parenting along with men's and women's support groups.

In addition, Family Advocacy Program also provides state accredited Batterers Intervention and prevention groups (BIPP). This is the first ever in the Army and Department of Defense. The BIPP Program is an 18 week program that is designed to hold offenders accountable for their actions and teach them skills to avoid future incidents of violence.
