CRDAMC Honors Courtney Tindall-Diehl with Outpatient DAISY Award.

By Frank Minnie

FORT CAVAZOS, Texas — Courtney Tindall-Diehl, a labor and delivery nurse at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, was recently honored with the DAISY Award in the outpatient category.

Tindall-Diehl has served as a nurse at CRDAMC for 13 years, beginning her career as an active-duty service member before transitioning to a general schedule employee. She completed the 66G OB/GYN nursing course at CRDAMC and has held roles in mother-baby and labor and delivery units.

"I couldn't imagine ever leaving my CRDAMC team," she said. "I hope to stay for 22 more years until retirement so I can continue to provide care to soldiers and their family members."

Known for her compassionate care, Tindall-Diehl said she finds purpose in helping patients through the unpredictable nature of labor. "The best outcome is a healthy mom and a healthy baby. However that looks, I want my patients to trust me and know I always have their best interest at heart."

She described receiving the DAISY Award as deeply humbling. "This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of my team and all the nurses that have come before me and made me the nurse I am today," she said.

The DAISY Award recognizes exceptional nurses who go above and beyond in their care and compassion. Tindall-Diehl's kindness, skill, and dedication to soldiers and their families make her truly deserving of this award.
