The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status. Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center is open, and we’re continuing to schedule appointments and procedures. The Beneficiary Services Office is composed of Beneficiary Counseling and Assistance Officers (BCAC), Debt Collection Assistance Officers (DCAO), Health Care Assistants, Enrollment Managers and Enrollment Assistants. Collectively, the staff of Beneficiary Services has years of experience at CRDAMC addressing current issues in the health benefits arena.
We can explain your health benefits in the military facility and through your TRICARE Health Plans (TRICARE Prime, Select, Life, Young Adult).
We can help you navigate your healthcare when you age from TRICARE Prime to TRICARE For Life.
Review medical bills or claims you have not been able to resolve by calling the medical facility that is billing you or calling the TRICARE Claims Office.
Provide informational briefings on the Prime Travel Benefit (over 100 miles one-way)
Process travel reimbursement for the Prime Travel Benefit (when applicable)
Provide information on vision and dental plans
Assist with navigating the Military Health System.
Process special PCM/enrollment request/appeals.
